No limit texas holdem is the game most beginners play. Some may be familiar with holdem, especially the televised poker events. When playing for free, limit holdem is just that and a capability to get familiar with the game. No limit holdem brings a new dimension to your poker playing experience. Unlike freehold, where players buy in and the house determines the blind, in no limit holdem your playing amount can be decided by the amount of chips on the table.



This article will give you guidelines and tactics on playing matter



1. Stay in character: simile the example of a movie where an actor has no lines but you are the principal character. Try to follow along the example of one where the lead actor goes all in. When you play to your potential you cannot be trying to think of an exit strategy or a way to save the best for last.


2. Know your limit and your opponent's limit: to play strategically you need to be aware of your limit and your opponent's limit. Know when to call, fold, go all in, raise or re buy. When you play with the feeling to go all in every time, you lose control and that is one of the reasons why poker is not a life ticket.


3. Be liked and hated combinations: the majority of your opponents are going to play with a certain style. Remind yourself continually that they are not your opponents but your equals. It would be beneficial if you could identify this type of players early. It would also be helpful to classify your opponent into the type of players that you are familiar with and the type of players that you are unfamiliar with. For example, you observe players on Pokerstars.com that play aggressive will make a lot of mistakes they will then try to play the opposite way. Once you know this kind of players a lot easier.


4. Sweep the basics under your wings: you will need to take the game of poker seriously if you want to be a good player. You can't dwell in the past and you shouldn't allow your emotions to interfere with your game.


5. Be ready to lose: as a poker player you have to accept that you will lose, even if you are doing well at one moment. Losing is a part of the game, but try not to lose more than you can afford to.


6. Read : study, read, and more study! Try to read books on poker, chat with other poker players, and anything else that will teach you more on the game.


7. Trust the re-raise: this is going to sound stupid, but you need to re-raise more often if you want to get paid off with a good hand. Odds dictate that you will get called, so you have to take advantage of that. It's part of the game.


8. Bluff : blesh, were really busted. Bluffing in bingo is the pinnacle of the game. To out bluff someone means to make a wild call with no reasonable hand. Wild calls are easy to make when you think you have a good hand when you are actually holding a bad hand. In bingo, you need to catch the first person who calls you and then make a continuation bet (if your hand is not that strong) or just fold. Be wary of people who continually call you bet after bet after bet. Those are the nuts so if they bet 5$5CR, you are screwed. Do not be so mean and break their confidence to such an extent that your hand is so obviously weak that you feel you are justified to fold. Be wary that some other players will try the same thing.


This is not going to sound like the basics for playing bingo, this is the basic gameplay. If you are not doing these moves than move out of the game. If you think you are going to win every hand for however long your stack is, well then that is just not going to happen!
